Synopsis
The course is based on the premise that information systems knowledge is essential for creating competitive firms, adding business value, and providing useful products and services to customers. Accounting Applications is a compulsory course in the Master of Professional Accounting and uses accounting software to meet the core knowledge requirements of the professional bodies. The course also examines accounting information systems role in support of strategic and operational decision-making and problem-solving, as well as operations support and management.
