Synopsis
In this course undergraduate nursing students are introduced to fundamental elements influencing professional identity formation. Students reflect on personal skills and attributes to situate themselves within a developing professional identity. The professional nursing role will be explored within legal and ethical frameworks, professional relationships, leadership and management philosophies and boundaries with patients, families, and other health professionals.
