A key skill required of Clinical Psychologists is the ability to accurately and efficiently assess and diagnose psychopathology across the lifespan. Clinical Psychologists are expected to be proficient in the use of classification systems such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, including having consolidated knowledge of diagnostic processes, and diagnostic criteria for common mental health conditions. Students will apply their formulation skills to a variety of clinical presentations. Attendance at the workshops for this course is mandatory.
