Program focus
This program provides experience in a wide range of roles and
procedures involved with editing and publishing for print and electronic
delivery of publications. Topics of study include: Editing Practice,
Proofreading and Writing for Editors.
Program aims
The program aims to produce graduates who have developed:

ethical aspects of professional editing and publishing

editing and publishing.

Domestic full fee paying place
Domestic full fee paying places are funded entirely
through the full fees paid by the student. Full fees vary depending
on the courses that are taken. You are able to calculate the fees
for a particular course via the .
Domestic full fee paying students
may be eligible to defer their fees through a Government loan called provided they meet the residency and citizenship
requirements.
Australian citizens, Permanent Humanitarian Visa
holders, Permanent Resident visa holders and New Zealand citizens
who will be resident outside Australia for the duration of their program
pay full tuition fees and are not eligible for .

International students pay full fees. Full fees vary depending
on the courses that are taken and whether they are studied on-campus,
via distance education/online. You are able to calculate the fees

Program structure
The Graduate Certificate in Editing and Publishing consists
of four units of courses. Refer to the Recommended Enrolment Pattern.
Required time limits
Students have a maximum of 2 years to complete this program.
IT requirements
Students in the Graduate Certificate require regular Internet
access and must be able to access multimedia files. Please refer to
the Student Computing Standards for more detailed requirements . If proceeding to the Graduate Diploma of Editing and Publishing or Master of Editing and Publishing, students are advised to note the requisite
computing requirements. Students must have access to a computer with
a DVD drive.
