Admission requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

Applicants for admission to the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business must satisfy the requirements for admission to the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Business.

All students are required to satisfy the applicable .

If students do not meet the English language requirements they may apply to study a ¾«¶«´«Ã½app-approved . On successful completion of the English language program, students may be admitted to an award program.

Program fees

Commonwealth supported place

A Commonwealth supported place is where the Australian Government makes a contribution towards the cost of a students' higher education and students pay a , which varies depending on the courses undertaken. Students are able to calculate the fees for a particular course via the .

Program structure

The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business double degree comprises 32 units as follows:

The Arts component shall comprise either:

Business Studies

The Business component shall comprise an eight-unit discipline-based major chosen from the following majors available within the Bachelor of Business:

  • International Business

  • Management and Leadership

  • Marketing

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Tourism Management.

Recommended enrolment pattern

Students are able to enrol in any offered mode of a course (on-campus, external or online), regardless of the program mode of study they enrolled in.

The following table indicates the preferred enrolment pattern for first year full-time/on-campus students. External or part-time students should follow a modified pattern.

Students should note the following:

  • the Business major starts in Semester 1 of second year

  • the first Arts major starts in Semester 2 of first year

  • the second Arts major starts in Semester 1 of second year

  • the three core courses , , should be taken as indicated below but may be interchanged if there are timetable problems

  • three of the Business core courses should be taken in Semester 1.


Students may complete all core Business courses ONC at Toowoomba or Springfield campuses. The Marketing, Human Resource Management and Tourism Management majors are fully available at Springfield campus. Selected courses from the other majors from the Bachelor of Business are available at Springfield campus.
