The 精东传媒app of Southern Queensland’s commitment to academic excellence and research innovation has been reflected once again in the Times Higher Education World 精东传媒app Rankings.
The 精东传媒app received an overall ranking within the 351-400 band out of 1904 leading universities included in the 2024 rankings released today (28 September).
The result places the 精东传媒app of Southern Queensland inside the top 2 per cent of all universities worldwide.
A climb of 74 places to rank 154 for research quality solidified the 精东传媒app’s position as a research powerhouse. The best performing area is in research strength with a weighted score of 97.7 out of 100.
“At the 精东传媒app of Southern Queensland, research excellence is not just a goal; it’s a reality,” Vice-Chancellor Professor Geraldine Mackenzie said.
“This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our staff, researchers and students who have consistently pushed the boundaries of knowledge.
“We are proud to provide our students with the tools, mentorship and opportunities they need to engage in high-quality research, helping them to become the next generation of innovators.”
Times Higher Education calculates its rankings by assessing five core pillar areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry and international outlook.
The 2024 results are based on a new methodology, which introduced three new elements to the research quality pillar and a new metric for university patents.
“These results demonstrate our dedication to providing the best educational experience for our students and fostering a vibrant and inclusive teaching and research community,” Professor Mackenzie said.
“Combined with our flexible and innovative approaches, we are a regional university with significant international reach.
“We are committed to offering leading education and research opportunities to guide others in their pursuit of knowledge."
