Novel Material Characterisation and Structural Performance Evaluation of High-Performance Composites and Joining Systems - PhD Scholarship
This project aims to characterise the physical, mechanical and structural properties of the high performance pultruded and filament wound composites. This will involve laboratory testing (using coupons and large-scale samples as appropriate) and full-scale trial pile driving/testing.

To be eligible applicants must:
- have completed an Honours Degree with First Class or 2A Honours, or equivalent level, or a Master's degree with a significant research component;
- have applied, or currently enrolled full-time on-campus in the PhD program at UniSQ;
- not be receiving equivalent support providing a benefit greater than 75% of the student’s stipend rate; and
- be eligible to commence or continue a PhD program latest in January 2025.
Open for Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent residents or high-quality international students.

- High level of Academic achievement (e.g., class of honours or equivalent; performance on postgraduate degree; academic prizes and awards)
- Demonstrate high level of Research capability (e.g., research publications in high quality journals; research presentations at conferences; research internship experience; evidence of creative works, if applicable)
