If you’ve started or completed a degree at UniSQ or another university, you may be eligible to apply based on your previous studies, and the associated Selection Rank.
For most degrees entry is based upon your previous studies, including university, TAFE/VET, and past year 12 results. We’ll use the best Selection Rank from your previous studies when considering your application.
Recognition of prior learning
With recognition of prior learning you could be given credit for prior studies which will reduce the time it takes to complete your degree. If you’ve studied at university within the last 10 years you may be eligible to transfer some of these credits to your preferred UniSQ degree. Our can help you determine credits you may be eligible for.
Graduate entry degrees
If you’ve completed a university qualification, and you’re interested in studying in a different discipline or changing your career, there are some degrees that will accept a range of undergraduate degrees as entry. These degrees have less units than a typical undergraduate degree, allowing you to graduate sooner.
Graduate entry degrees are:
- Juris Doctor
- Master of Learning and Teaching (Early Years)
- Master of Learning and Teaching (Primary)
- Master of Learning and Teaching (Secondary).
Each degree has unique entry requirements and supporting documentation, therefore it is important you read the entry requirements for the graduate entry degrees.
Entry pathways
If you started a university degree but did not finish, you can develop the skills you need to successfully complete your degree with a pathway program.
You must completed two courses in a pathways program for it to count towards your Selection Rank.
