This business-minded South Korean student made the most of every UniSQ opportunity and even started his very own e-commerce business for the Toowoomba market.
Jin Hee knew he wanted to take a different career path and create something of his own for the enjoyment of others.
'I never knew what a ‘start-up’ was before studying business at UniSQ. I met a few friends and lecturers who told me about the concept. After some research I developed an interest in running my own start-up business.'
Jin Hee’s objectives for his business were to address daily inconveniences that many kinds of people face and to make people happy.
'As a customer in Australia I was always greeted positively and this made me happy. I also got involved in UniSQ’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program and joined the Start-Up Club to share my ideas.'
Jin Hee kept his goals clear and the execution of his plans simple. He was also encourage by his ability to make connections across many areas of his daily life and the support offered by UniSQ Toowoomba.
Jin Hee graduated from a Bachelor of Business and Commerce and is one of the owners and developers of Toowoomba’s very first food delivery app ‘HappyToo’.
