Throughout her three and a half years studying a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on-campus in Toowoomba, Yinshou enjoyed and benefited from the personalised support she received. Now an associate professor at the Central 精东传媒app of Finance and Economics (CUFE) in China (known as ‘the Cradle of Giants in the Field of Finance and Management), she credits her UniSQ supervisors with providing her with professional guidance, while encouraging her to be confident with her research and think independently. This has enhanced her academic career and built her supervision skills for her students at CUFE, China.
Yinshuo makes earnest endeavours to embed her sustainable finance related research into teaching, so that students are equipped with awareness, knowledge and capacity of sustainable development, and contribute to the future mindset changing. Her contribution and significant impact on the Australia-China community has been recognised by the Australia China Alumni Association. She was nominated and selected as one of the 2021 Australia China Alumni Award finalists.
The mindset changing for a more sustainable financial system requires effort bit-by-bit, and I would like to contribute in a meaningful way.
