Rationale
Through a series of workshops students are introduced to skills and practices involved with post-production techniques for the broadcast medium, particularly the processes involved in designing and integrating style and effects into the production process relevant to the broadcast industries.
Synopsis
A comprehensive, specialist course designed to develop professional skills for digital artists through post production learning environments. Students will develop a solid understanding of the processes involved in creating and integrating techniques into their production pipelines. This will include digital motion graphics, visual effects and compositing techniques to name a few.
Objectives
On completion of this course students should be able to:
- identify and apply theoretical and practical aspects used in post-production;
- produce work that effectively communicates with an intended audience;
- work independently to produce production quality material that reflects on social, cultural and ethical issues;
- research concepts and processes involved in post-production to produce industry standard outcomes.
