Rationale
In order to establish a methodological base for professional practice students need to apply acquired skills and learned techniques, theories and conceptual understandings to practical projects based on industry standards.
Synopsis
Students enrolled in this course will engage in supervised and self-directed rehearsal of scenes work for recording in the Television studio and on live performance work for public outcome.
Objectives
On successful completion of this course students should be able to:
- critically examine processes, theories, technical skills and sensibilities relevant to their field of practice. (TLO 1);
- apply relevant skills and knowledge to produce and realise creative work (TLO 3);
- use problem-solving and critical analysis to creatively conceive and practice rehearsal and performance processes (TLO 2);
- adapt knowledge and skills for diverse socio-cultural contexts (TLO 5).
