Overview
The aviation industry is multi-faceted and reaches beyond the operation of aircraft. The industry is a complex socio-technical environment where safety, efficiency and sustainability are essential components for the future of air transport systems. However these three parameters often find themselves in competition in the current system. In order to be effective managers, future aviation professionals need to develop an appropriate understanding of the drivers and underpinning requirements of these components. This course responds to these dynamics and challenges by engaging students through the appropriate use of contemporary case studies.
