Overview
As with the learning of any language, as confidence with the English language grows, it is important that students are provided with the opportunity to be challenged with more difficult tasks. This course aims to further develop students' language skills and strategies in reading and writing to a level where they can apply their language skills to longer, more complex material and tasks that help build confidence and prepare students to proceed to the Intermediate Level.
The Pre-Intermediate course presents different themes around which a variety of reading and writing skills are introduced and practised. Directed self-study at the Pre-Intermediate level consolidates and extends students' ability to become more autonomous learners.
