Navigating an ever-changing commercial, creative and ethical landscape requires entrepreneurial skills and strategies, and an understanding of the nature and practices of the arts sector both nationally and internationally.
Emerging artists and professional community workers must be flexible, adaptable and innovative to build and sustain careers. This course supplements previous courses with knowledge and skill in establishing and sustaining a successful career in the Arts.

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and procedures for researching, planning, managing and promoting their professional arts practice. The course will engage the creative potential of entrepreneurship, leadership and business management as key features of the course in order to prepare emerging artists to plan for their long-term business acumen for a career in the creative arts.
