Other requisites
Students MUST be enrolled in the BCA or BEDU and normally be completing their final year of study. Approval for special consideration to under this course (for non-BCA students) must be obtained from the BCA Coordinator.
Students MUST have completed appropriate discipline-specific courses in their chosen creative arts discipline (advice should be sought from the BCA Coordinator or Discipline Head) prior to enrolment in this course.
This course may be used in conjunction with project development taking place in the course Arts Business Practice (BCA3002).
Students will require access to e-mail and have internet access to UConnect for this course.
This course should be completed during the student鈥檚 last year in the program.
Synopsis
This course seeks to explore at an advanced level the intersection between theory and practice in the creative arts. The emphasis will be primarily on practice with a view to identifying and articulating the discoveries made through experiential methodologies in order to develop discipline expertise in the Creative Arts student.
