Students may only enrol in this course with the prior approval of the Program Coordinator.
Students must be available for a prescribed period of time to undertake a placement in a school or other approved site as required in this course.

State law in Queensland (Australia) requires that all adults working/undertaking professional experience/researching with children under the age of 18, in the state of Queensland must hold a valid Blue Card OR Exemption Card
If undertaking placement outside of Queensland you must ensure that all relevant checks are completed and evidence of this is provided to the Professional Experience office
Synopsis
Enrolment in this course is a negotiated enrolment to ensure students meet the Professional Experience requirements in a prior to school setting as specified in the Bachelor of Education (BECH) or Bachelor of Education (BEDU) Early Childhood programs approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and /or the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT). Students will be required to undertake teaching tasks and responsibilities as outlined in the USQ Professional Experience Book relevant to this prior to school placement.
