The course identifies and examines the key components for successful management of language programs, including curriculum design and innovation, language policy and planning, classroom dialogue as a measure of pedagogical effectiveness, student voice and student needs, teacher professional learning, language teaching standards, issues of monitoring and accountability, community engagement and organizational change. Students will have the opportunity to relate their study to their particular language learning and language program context.
