Requisites

Pre-requisite: NUR2000 and (NUR2299 or NUR2399)

Synopsis

In this course students are allocated to a clinical placement setting and undertake 160 hours of professional experience placement. NUR3299 provides students with opportunities to develop their professional interactions, therapeutic relationships and nursing care practices associated with caring for individuals, families and significant others. Students begin to think critically and apply clinical decision making using the nursing process within an appropriate acute and or chronic care clinical setting. The aim is for students to consolidate learning and apply knowledge and practice skills from past or concurrent theoretical courses during clinical placement in readiness for transition to professional nursing practice.
