Synopsis
This course provides an introduction to the role and responsibilities of the clinical exercise physiology profession within the Australian healthcare system. This course will help develop the practical skills required by students when working with clinical clients and populations so they can provide expert exercise assessment and testing, prescription of exercise interventions, and monitoring of client progression throughout prescribed exercise. The course will requires interactive engagement for students to develop ability to self-analyse the rationale behind their clinical skills and clinical decision-making processes.
This course contains a mandatory residential school at the Ipswich campus for external students and mandatory on-campus laboratories or practical classes for on-campus students.
