Synopsis

The purpose of this course is for students to acquire appropriate knowledge and skills important for physiology and functional movement assessment, monitoring, and prescription of exercise for people with chronic clinical conditions, multi-trauma, or complex co-morbidities, people with disabilities, individuals from different races, cultures, and minority groups, as well as children and the elderly. Evidence-based clinical practice will be modeled and applied.

This course contains a mandatory residential school at the Ipswich campus for external students and mandatory on-campus practical sessions for on-campus students.
