Synopsis
The course is intended to provide students with a core of basic industrial skills required for the practical applications of Surveying and Spatial Science in the workplace. Students will have the opportunity to select and complete four workshops that best reflect their needs for practical instruction. Techniques required in cadastral surveying, cadastral law and reinstatement, photogrammetry, post-processed GNSS and GNSS network exercises can be undertaken by students as individual modules. Students can also undertake exercises in essential business skills including project management and writing a business plan. This course contains a mandatory residential school for external students and mandatory on-campus laboratories or practical classes for on-campus students.
