Overview
This course aims to provide post graduate students with the fundamental techniques needed to undertake the design and conduct of rigorous research projects. The course is designed to familiarise students with a range of research designs to enable the conduct of both quantitative and quantitative research projects.
This course will focus on a range of research designs, drawing on both qualitative and quantitative research traditions to develop core skills in the design of an effective research project. Emphasis will be placed on rigorous and robust design of research projects drawing on a range of approaches including interview techniques, controlled experimental design, and survey. The course will introduce students to the USQ survey tool.
