  • In this major you will create solutions to data science problems either individually or in teams, by generating programs which apply programming strategies and data analysis techniques.  
  • Graduates from this major have knowledge and skills related to data modelling, storage, and retrieval methods, and can apply effective data mining tools and techniques to technology initiatives. 
  • You will apply computer and mathematical skills to analyse algorithms and data structures; employ broad and coherent theoretical and technical knowledge with depth in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data science; and analyse critically and reflect on the issues of privacy and ethics of data science. 
  • Mix and match your many passions with a variety of majors and minors from over 30 discipline areas.
