An engineering technology degree at UniSQ includes courses and practical experience in real-world environments that qualify you as an Engineering Technologist with . With a focus on introducing you to core engineering and built environment concepts, along with work experience as a technologist, you will gain the relevant qualifications to work in a variety of engineering technology settings and roles.
You can use your engineering technology degree as a stepping-stone into the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and receive the appropriate credit.
At UniSQ we have three different Bachelor of Engineering Technology majors to choose from:
Civil Engineering – Understand the fundamentals of infrastructure design, planning, development, construction, operation and maintenance with hands-on practical courses and professional equipment.
Electrical & Electronic Engineering – Gain a thorough understanding of electrical theory, digital and analogue technologies, electrical plant and measurement principles – all of which can be applied to a broad range of field applications.
Mechanical Engineering - Design the newest in modern mechanical innovations in the automotive, aeronautical, building, power, manufacturing and public utility industries and gain the practical skills to develop and manufacture efficient, economical and reliable machinery.
