Requisites
Pre-requisite: Students must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: BSCH (Psychology major 12302) or BPSH or MSCR (Psychology Research)
Other requisites
BPSH students must have completed the first 3 years with a GPA of 5.0 across levels 1 to 3 psychology courses.
Synopsis
This course provides training in the development of skills necessary for conducting psychological assessment including interview skills, administration and scoring, interpretation, and professional report writing. Assessment strategies, including the use of standardised psychological test instruments will be identified, discussed, and practiced. There is a focus on cultural considerations when conducting psychological assessments within this course.
This course contains a mandatory residential school for both external and on-campus students.
